Couple holidays

Whether this is your first trip together or your fiftieth – quality time with people we love is a huge part why we travel at all. That’s why holidays are so important, and why we promise to listen, guide and care about your trip as much as you do.

Honeymoons, big birthdays, retirement trips – or just finally booking that getaway you’ve been talking about for years. Wherever you travel as a couple, we’ll make sure your holiday feels like yours. Because no two couples are the same, no holidays are either. But our cultural adventures do all share something. It’s a style of travel built around deeper experiences – the kind that connect you to the people, traditions and everyday life of a place.

We’ve spent 25 years designing couple holidays that balance discovery and downtime in just the right way. We’ll tailor your trip around how you like to travel – mixing really special boutique stays with experiences that suit your pace and personality. Think rooftop cocktails in Bangkok, a market tour with a local chef in Hoi An, or a remote jungle lodge in Borneo, where orangutan calls provide your morning soundtrack. Every detail is considered and precisely shaped to fit you both: when to build in rest, when to add something active, and how to bring in the unexpected moments you’ll talk about long after you’re home.

When you get in touch, you’ll be matched to a dedicated travel consultant. Tell them what gets you most excited about your next trip – and they’ll plan it down to every detail, so it could only be yours.

One couple’s cultural adventure in Laos

Made for Kathy and David, by Steph

Kathy and David are both well-travelled. They’d visited a few Southeast Asian countries, but they’d never explored Laos. And they were only too happy to head somewhere completely new to them.

Knowing Kathy and David wanted to explore beyond the standard sights, Steph connected them with a local family, who were only too happy to teach the couple to wrap spring rolls on their veranda. She lined up a boat trip that included a stop at a Mekong village, with time set aside to meet the community. On their first night in Vientiane, Steph suggested they explored Vientiane’s night markets – although she couldn’t have planned for the Zumba dancing and bumper cars they’d find there.

Laos is nothing if not surprising, and their trip is one of my favourite examples of how.

I’m always excited to introduce travellers to Laos. It’s often overlooked in favour of Thailand or Vietnam, but that’s part of its appeal. The slower pace isn’t just relaxing – it gives you time to really notice things: how fisherman haul in their catch on Mekong islands, how a sleepy village square can be transformed by Lao line dancers or simply how peaceful it can be walking alongside elephants.”
