Originally from Wyoming, Tyler moved to Vietnam at the age of 22 and began leading walking tours of the northern regions of the country, as well as kayaking trips in Halong Bay. Since then, he has spent over a decade travelling in Southeast Asia and beyond - visiting over 67 countries, living all over East Asia, and leading tours across Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, China, Korea, Japan and Burma.
