Seoul, kid-approved, with a local Insider:

Make a royal visit to a Seoul palace, dress up in hanbok for the cutest family photos, and tuck into a “pick‑and‑mix” a meal at the market, turning lunch into a game.

Big thrills at Lotte World:

Spend the day in one of Asia’s favorite theme parks – think gentle rides for tiny adventurers and bigger thrills for older kids, colorful parades, shows, plus plenty of sweet‑treat stops in between.

Chuncheon adventure day:

Swap the city for fresh air with a scenic rail‑bike ride through themed tunnels, easy nature walks and waterfalls.

Busan: sea, sights and snacks:

Explore a rainbow-bright hillside village, try freshly caught fish at the market, then ride a coastal cable car for big “wow!” views (and even bigger smiles).

Discover life beyond the capital on a scenic day trip featuring a railbike ride, nature walks and a relaxed Korean dinner

Seoul is an exciting, easy-going introduction to South Korea for families – lively, welcoming and full of moments that spark curiosity for all ages. With the help of a friendly local Insider guide, your family will explore Seoul’s historic heart with a trip to one of the city’s palaces. Try on traditional hanbok, perfect for photos and really getting into the spirit of old Korea.

No boring sandwiches for lunch here. Wander through Tongin Market, stall by stall, choosing small Korean dishes and exchanging traditional brass coins to build your own pick‑and‑mix lunchbox. Try spicy tteokbokki rice cakes, if your tastebuds can handle it, or Korean pancakes – it’s a hands‑on food adventure that kids love.

You’ll have a high-energy day of fun at Lotte World, with a mix of rides, indoor attractions and live shows designed to suit both younger children and teens. A countryside escape to Chuncheon is the ideal breather from the city – a scenic rail‑bike ride, slow paced easy nature walks and the famous Chuncheon dakgalbi chicken for dinner.

Day 5-7

Busan

Busan
Highlights:

Explore the colorful Gamcheon Culture Village and Jagalchi Fish Market

Glide high above the beaches and sparkling open water on the Songdo Marine Cable Car to Amnam Park for its dinosaur park, snail garden and coastal walkways

Spend time in Busan’s most family‑friendly area, Haeundae: a big sandy beach for sandcastles or sunbathing, retro arcades, and a beach train that runs right along the coast

You’ve explored Korea’s capital at full pace, now it’s time to speed south to Busan on the KTX high-speed train, watching the landscape shift from mountains and fields to sea and beach. On arrival, a private transfer will whisk you straight to your hotel to settle in.

A local guide will take you to Busan’s best sights. Explore the brightly painted houses, murals and small art studios of Gamcheon Culture Village, then head to Jagalchi Fish Market – where tanks are filled with otherworldly sea pineapples and giant crabs, and upstairs you can try dried squid and seaweed.

Finish the day floating above the waves on the Songdo Marine Cable Car for sweeping views of fishing boats, rocky cliffs and the open sea – if anything captures Busan’s easy-going coastal spirit, this is it.

You’ll also have time to explore independently, and based in the heart of Haeundae, one of Busan’s most family‑friendly neighborhoods, you’re right in the center of the action. Think sunbathing and sandcastle building on sandy beaches, loud and lively gaming arcades, and the ever‑popular beach train and sky capsule – with views of cliffs, beaches and sparkling open water, even getting around is fun for the family.

Evening Cooking NANTA performance: fast-paced, kitchen-themed theater with music and comedy

A chill day to relax: revisit favorite spots or explore a new part of the city that catches your eye

Returning to Seoul via train, you get to decide how you and your family spend their final day. You may choose to visit the Trick Eye museum, where big, bold artwork create interactive optical illusions – go ballroom dancing, or even escape a shark attack within the art. If you or your kids are into K-pop, shop for merch in Myeongdong, or simply grab Korean snacks and drinks at the convenience stores.

You’re in for a loud, but very fun final evening. Nanta is South Korea’s longest running theater show, combining cooking, comedy and clashing pots and pans to create traditional Korean music. It’s a quirky and truly Korean fun way to round off your family vacation.
