Day 1-3

Singapore

Start your adventure in Singapore, one of the most cosmopolitan and cutting-edge countries in the world. After steeping yourself in colonial heritage on a guided tour (and grabbing an optional Singapore Sling at Raffles Hotel!) we recommend a visit to one of Singapore’s most iconic modern developments: the amazing, hi-tech Gardens by the Bay. On your second day, there are no end of highlights to choose from. Whether you opt to visit the World Heritage Botanic Gardens, head to the top deck of Marina Bay Sands, or explore the traditional Malay, Chinese and Indian neighbourhoods of the old city, make time to stop in a hawker centre or two. They’re nothing short of godly.

Day 4-8

Bintan

After your whistle-stop tour of the city, the next thing on the menu is a little R&R. Singapore isn’t known for its beaches, so you’ll be hopping on a ferry to Indonesian Bintan, a sparsely populated jewel of an island just an hour’s journey from the city. Forget crowded strips and busy beaches: here, it’s all about barefoot luxury as you isolate yourself from the hubbub of modern life, sandwiched between emerald rainforest and turquoise sea. Detox at the in-house spa, dine on super-fresh seafood, sip cocktails on the beach, and wake up to the sounds of tropical birds hooting and chirping in the jungle. It doesn’t get much better than this.
