Vietnam Memories •1 min read Elspeth Taylor travelled to Vietnam and Cambodia in the Autumn of 2013 and loved it apparently. Elspeth wanted to share her highlights with others along with a few nice images. Here is what she said....It is so difficult to pick just a few highlights from our trip. There are so many wonderful memories. Rural retreatMai Chau - we so enjoyed walking in the countryside, seeing how people live and work in this beautiful area. Halong SunsetHalong Bay - I was prepared to be disappointed after reading all the hype about it, but our cruise exceeded all expectations. It is a stunningly beautiful place and our ship, the Jasmine, was superb. Hoi AnHoi An - Another highlight. It is very touristy, but a pretty town and a good place to chill out for a couple of days. A cultural must for anyone. Delicious foodFood - We so enjoyed Vietnamese food, so fresh and tasty. We particularly enjoyed the street food tour we did in Hanoi. We went to places we would not otherwise have dared go and yet had the most delicious food of the whole trip. All in all it was and amazing trip.
