Day 1-2

Singapore

View of Marina Bay Sands Hotel across the bay with pink flowers in foreground
Highlights:

Go on a guided cycle tour of Singapore Bay

Try to spot the famous family of wild otters living in the Bay

Meet nocturnal wildlife on a night safari at Singapore Zoo

If there’s one place that encapsulates modern Singapore, it’s Marina Bay — and a cycle tour is one of our favourite ways to get to know it. Pedaling along flat, easy paths, you’ll pass giant buildings shaped like durian fruit; half-fish, half-lion fountain statues; a skyscraper topped with a ship-shaped terrace, and (of course) the legendary supertrees of Gardens by the Bay. You could spend your free afternoon exploring the shops and hawker centres of Chinatown or Little India, but save some energy for your after-hours safari through Singapore Zoo, where lions, tigers, elephants and hippos go about their business in free-range habitats.

Transport

Day 1:

Car transfer from Singapore airport to hotel (20 minutes)

Day 3

Singapore

Street art on side of restaurant building beneath modern skyscrapers
Highlights:

Explore the interactive exhibitions at the awesome ArtScience Museum

See views as far as Malaysia from the top of Marina Bay Sands

Watch the amazing Spectra Light Show

Forget what you think you know about museums, because Singapore’s ArtScience Museum is something completely different. Housed in a distinctive lotus-shaped building, its exhibits encourage visitors to rethink the boundaries between art and science as they lose themselves in virtual reality environments, play innovative video games, make music, and explore works by world-class artists like Marina Abramović and Anish Kapoor. When you’ve seen it all, we recommend heading to the ship-shaped rooftop deck of the hotel next-door for stunning views over Singapore. Then, as night falls, don’t miss the incredible Spectra light-and-water show over the bay.

Day 4-5

Singapore

Stone statues in front of rollercoaster at Sentosa Island
Highlights:

Spend an adrenaline-fuelled day at Universal Studios

Explore the jungly resort island of Sentosa, off the coast of Singapore

Enjoy a final night in the city, filling up on delicious street food

We can’t think of anywhere more fun to spend your last day in Singapore than on Sentosa. This resort island is like one big theme park, with jungle walks, butterfly parks, ziplines and water parks. Universal Studios is the cherry on the cake, and we’ve included tickets for you today. Thrill-seekers can ride two “duelling” rollercoasters or brave the Revenge of the Mummy, while younger kids can enjoy Sesame Street-themed live shows and mini-car rides. Active adventurers can go rock climbing or river rafting — and everyone can grab a last souvenir, whether you’re into Minions or Hello Kitty. When you’re all adventured out, head back for a last night of street food and fun in the city.
