It's no secret that when you think of Cambodia, you think of Angkor Wat. Whilst it's undoubtedly a spectacular place to visit, it can be frustrating to have to vie with other travellers for the best viewpoints and photo spots and the natural tranquillity is easily spoiled.
What very few people are aware of is how quickly and easy you can escape the beaten track to discover hidden temples and forgotten cities with all the beauty of the main Angkor complex.
