Begin your family adventure in Vietnam's historic heartland and the UNESCO World Heritage streets of Hoi An. After having chance to explore the ancient town, hop on to two wheels and head out into the bucolic surrounding countryside. Meet with local fishermen and learn how to cast nets the traditional way while trying to steer your small round bamboo basket boats. Savour fresh seafood on board a boat back to town and head to the Lifestart foundation, a local social enterprise where you will have a hands on class making your own traditional lanterns with local artisans.

Fly down to Vietnam's commercial and lively hub of Ho Chi Minh City where a scenic journey along the Saigon River brings you to the famous Cu Chi tunnels. After travelling back in history scrambling through the tunnels, take a fun cyclo ride through the city's backstreets and local communities ending at a family home where you will enjoy a special musical performance in the intimate confines of a converted living room, also having the chance to master these ingenious, handmade instruments yourselves.

From the bustling streets head out into the countryside for two full days around the picturesque and verdant Mekong Delta. Pedal and paddle the waterways and through rural villages whilst staying in a beautiful homestay.

A short flight then brings you to Phnom Penh, Cambodia's ever-changing and ever-fascinating capital. Here you will walk its backstreets, discover its hidden communities and take part in traditional dance and music lessons from grand masters.

Leaving the city behind once again, head to Cambodia's charming coastal towns of Kampot and Kep, stopping at the Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre en-route, where you will have a behind-the-scenes and hands on experience with the staff at "Free The Bears", the world's largest Sun Bear sanctuary.

Take a scenic sunset river cruise in Kampot watching as the local fishermen head out to sea and try your hand at stand up paddle boarding amongst mangrove forests. Explore the countryside and villages of the region by local remok (tuk tuk) including a visit to the Women's Handicraft and Development Association where villagers make traditional loom-woven kramas, coconut jewellery, and "Funky Junk" products made from recycled plastic, before a short boat ride brings you to the shores of Koh Tansai, a small, untouched and idyllic island in the Gulf of Thailand. Feast on a barbeque of freshly caught seafood, relax on the beach and snorkel the shallow waters. A fitting end to your incredibly fun and cultural journey through this fascinating region.
