Inside Asia Tours: Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos

Paradise Cave

Explore the vast underground network of Paradise Cave filled with sculpted stalagmite and shining stalactite formations.

Phong Nha Ke Beng national park is home to some dramatic caves, including Paradise Cave. The journey to the cave is fascinating, taking you through sheer limestone peaks rising up from the jungle. This is ancient rainforest where huge buttressed trees, festooned with vines, clad the mountainsides. UNESCO World Heritage Status was granted to this region in 2003, encompassing both the caves and the pristine National Park area.

To enter Paradise Cave climb steps for half a kilometre before ascending into the remarkable expanse of the cavern below. The cave has been well developed for gentle exploration, with wooden walkways winding through the underground network, and subtle lighting illuminating the breathtaking stalactite and stalagmites formations the have grown drip by drip throughout the millennia.
