Our team at InsideAsia Tours
The sun never sets on the InsideAsia Tours team (well, maybe on Sundays) and here you can meet the people behind our Southeast Asian tours and holidays.
We have a wide range of backgrounds and interests, but you can be sure that the one thing that ties us all together is a love of travel, foreign cultures and a passionate desire to share that with other people.
From the accounts department, through the travel consultant teams to the tour leaders and guides on the ground, you can rest assured that everything we do is to make sure you have the best possible experience in Asia.
Originally from Devon in England, Liam has travelled all over the world – including two years living in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
A keen hiker and white-water kayaker, Liam was originally drawn to Southeast Asia for its lush rainforests and interesting wildlife.
Though he spent his two years there living in one of the region's biggest cities, Ho Chi Minh City, his best memories are of his adventures in the wilderness: whether it was dodging spiders in the rainforest of Vietnam's Cat Ba Island or exploring Myanmar's diverse ethnic minorities in the mountains of Kayah State.
In addition to his time in Vietnam, Liam has spent a year teaching English in Korea and three months with Voluntary Service Overseas in Muscat, Oman, where he worked at a museum and produced a radio documentary. Though he missed pavements, he loved the untouched landscapes and relatively intact traditional culture - quite unlike some of the other countries in the region.
As well as his passion for wildlife, Liam is fascinated by Southeast Asia's war history, enjoys photography, and is a keen anthropologist, having written his university dissertation on the rights of indigenous peoples.

I highly recommend taking a street food tour in any big city!
