Our team at InsideAsia Tours
The sun never sets on the InsideAsia Tours team (well, maybe on Sundays) and here you can meet the people behind our Southeast Asian tours and holidays.
We have a wide range of backgrounds and interests, but you can be sure that the one thing that ties us all together is a love of travel, foreign cultures and a passionate desire to share that with other people.
From the accounts department, through the travel consultant teams to the tour leaders and guides on the ground, you can rest assured that everything we do is to make sure you have the best possible experience in Asia.

For Ellen, every day in Vietnam was an adventure. After setting off on a solo journey to Southeast Asia, Hai Phong (2 hours from Hanoi) became her home while she worked as a school teacher.
She was soon doing as the locals do, taking one of Vietnam's impossibly small stools - "designed for a five-year-old" - with a crunchy banh mi in hand, to watch the changing street scenes. Though motorbikes piled precariously high (family of five, complete with a dog in the footwell and a chicken on the back) were a daily occurence, they never ceased to surprise her.
No morning was complete without a glass of cà phê sua dá, strong Vietnamese coffee over ice with a good swirl of sweet condensed milk. What better preparation for hundreds of small children sprinting towards you in the playground? Considering she often dressed up as various characters, including Father Christmas on a 28°C day in December, this hero worship was well deserved.
Ellen wasted no time exploring other parts of the region and has more than a few tales to tell. Buy her a cà phê sua dá, pull up a stool, and ask her about that time she stayed up late drinking rice wine with Sapa villagers; played her ukulele in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia; and got lost in Taman Negara (the oldest rainforest in the world).
While she might have reluctantly hung up her Santa costume for good, a different spotlight awaited in the UK - a return to the glitz and glamour of partner dance competitions she grew up with. Having recently come third in the World Open, we're eagerly awaiting an office performance some time soon!
