Our team at InsideAsia Tours
The sun never sets on the InsideAsia Tours team (well, maybe on Sundays) and here you can meet the people behind our Southeast Asian tours and holidays.
We have a wide range of backgrounds and interests, but you can be sure that the one thing that ties us all together is a love of travel, foreign cultures and a passionate desire to share that with other people.
From the accounts department, through the travel consultant teams to the tour leaders and guides on the ground, you can rest assured that everything we do is to make sure you have the best possible experience in Asia.
Laura's fascination with Asia started way back with a high school lesson on Hokusai and after visiting Japan, she soon fell in love with the culture.
While studying Japanese at university, Laura was most fascinated by Japan's traditions, and made the unchanged cities of Kanazawa and Kyoto her home. Working at a Japanese culture exhibition that specialised in ancient arts including calligraphy, Noh masks and origami gave her the chance to continue her arts education.
Originally from Italy, it seems fitting that she kicked off her career in travel and hospitality by working at a European-inspired izakaya in Kyoto, and living the Disney dream at the Italian Pavilion in Orlando. From the fairy tale backdrop of Disneyland via the Hilton in the picturesque city of Bath, Laura now works in our magical Small Group Tours team - making everything run seamlessly behind the scenes.
She's a busy bee outside of work, learning Spanish, and practising her Karate and Aikido moves, and while she also plays guitar and saxophone, perhaps unsurprisingly, she doesn't have much time to practice these days...
