Our team at InsideAsia Tours
The sun never sets on the InsideAsia Tours team (well, maybe on Sundays) and here you can meet the people behind our Southeast Asian tours and holidays.
We have a wide range of backgrounds and interests, but you can be sure that the one thing that ties us all together is a love of travel, foreign cultures and a passionate desire to share that with other people.
From the accounts department, through the travel consultant teams to the tour leaders and guides on the ground, you can rest assured that everything we do is to make sure you have the best possible experience in Asia.
After living and breathing all things Japan, Vivienne couldn't help falling for the rest of Asia
A keen traveller, Vivienne took the plunge to move to Japan straight after university. Despite knowing very little about the country or its culture, she soon fell in love with the place, its people and its food.
With a degree in French and History, she was well equipped to start picking up Japanese when she arrived in Ibusuki, Kagoshima Prefecture on Japan's Kyushu Island. She made the most of her two years in Japan, making friends with plenty of old ladies, learning how to Hula dance, and teaching in no fewer than nine different schools. She heartily recommends her old stomping ground - despite it having a volcano that erupts nearly every day (don't worry, it's safe!).
After returning to the UK, she joined the InsideAsia team and worked in our Bristol office for two years. It wasn't long until she got the travel bug again though (that dastardly virus catches up with the best of us). She moved to our Nagoya office in Japan for five months, and after coming back, she went off again to explore Burma and Cambodia.
