Palm Garden Resort (Hoi An)
Set amidst 5 hectares of landscaped gardens, with its own private 220 metre stretch of beach and yet only 5 minutes by car from the old city of Hoi An, the Palm Garden Resort makes for a relaxing stay in this historic destination. The hotel has a well-sized swimming pool, full spa and two restaurants to choose from as well as the Contino Club Bar which often features live local music. Beach-side the hotel provides parasols and lounge chairs and facilities for beach volleyball and football. You can enoy snooker and table tennis free of charge at the games room and the hotel has its own modern futness centres as well. Water sports and cycle hire can also easily be arranged. There is a play area for kids with baby-sitting services available on request. The hotel operates a free of charge shuttle bus service which takes you in to historic centre of Hoi An and we would recommend mixing up your dining between the hotel and the restaurants in the old city.
Boutique Hotel (Hoi An)
Located approximatley ten minutes by car from the historical UNESCO World Heritage site of Hoi An's 'Old Quarter' this beautiful beachside resort is a fusion of French style and modern, Vietnamese elegance. The delicate combination of French and Vietnamese flavours and decor creates an ambience of style, comfort and luxury. The main hotel building holds the majority of the rooms with surrounding villas dotted in the grounds around the pool. There is a lovely onsite restaurant and an elegant infinity pool that forms the centrepiece of the grounds, providing excellent views up to the impressive hotel, and out towards the ocean.
Homestay (Ba Be)
The homestay in Pac Ngoi village is a great base for discovering Ba Be National Park. The village itself is located on the edge of the lake, next to rice paddies and surrounded by rainforest clad mountains. The homestay facilities are fairly basic and you will be staying with a welcoming host family in their home, a traditional Tay stilted house with a terrace overlooking the rice fields and lake. You will have a private room with shared Western-style bathrooms and be served a delicious home cooked dinner. Your hosts don't speak a great deal of English but are eager to communicate with the help of books and hand gestures, and of course your guide is around too.
Phum Biatang Resort (Siem Reap)
Phum Baitang is a beautiful property exceptional in its design which replicates a traditional Cambodian village.
The luxury resort which opened in September 2015 features 45 traditionally designed stilted villas. Located a short drive from the centre of Siem Reap is set within eight hectares of lush gardens and paddy fields ensuring for a truly peaceful and memorable experience. The spacious wooden villas, with either private terrace or pool, are dotted about the compound. They are finished to a very high standard, inspired by traditional Cambodian design. The resort features a large salt water pool with bar and restaurant overlooking the paddy fields. There is also a beautiful spa designed to look like an ancient Khmer temple with a wide variety of treatments as well as saunas, a steam room and traditional outdoor Japanese bath. A separate bar designed to look like a traditional rural home has amazing sunset views over the rice fields.
