Inside Vietnam: Cambodia Laos

Jungle trekking in Nam Cat Tien

Delve into the dense lowland jungles of south Vietnam's Nam Cat Tien National Park. Don't forget your leech-socks!

One of the highlights of the Nam Cat Tien National Park is a jungle trek to Crocodile Lake. The trek involves hiking through dense jungle, and will give you the chance to see the region's healthy population of rare Siamese Crocodiles. The lake is also a favourite watering hole for many deer and wild pigs, especially in the dry season when standing pools elsewhere have dried up.

This trek is relatively easy, but be aware that the temperature can get very warm in the hotter months.
