Inside Vietnam: Cambodia Laos

Morning cycling tour of Hanoi

See Hanoi from a local perspective, cycling through the backstreets past lakes, temples and markets.

A guided cycle trip is a great way to explore the city, winding through the back streets and watching locals go about their daily lives. The flat and gentle cycling along this route will take you off the beaten track to parts of the city you might otherwise miss.

The tour includes a ride through Hanoi's quieter back roads, where you'll be able to watch ordinary people going about their day-to-day business, taking you onwards to West Lake - the largest of Hanoi's lakes, with a shoreline 17 kilometres long. Here you'll see locals fishing, Vietnam's oldest pagoda (Tran Quoc), and peach and kumquat plantations.

As you cycle, you'll have plenty of opportunities to stop for delicious street food snacks and café sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) as you ride past local restaurants and markets. This is a great way to cover plenty of ground and get to know the Vietnamese capital at your own pace - all with a guide to ensure that you find your way back again!
