Honeymoons accommodation across Burma
Bayview Resort (Ngapali)
The Bayview Resort is one of our favourite hotels here in beautiful Ngapali. The resort offers a choice of spacious deluxe rooms, bungalows and suites all of which have large windows, a private terrace or balcony and views of the garden or sea front. There is a swimming pool and two restaurants on-site. The Catch restaurant offers a wonderful selection of fresh seafood, international and Asian dishes whilst the Sunset Bar offers a slightly less formal menu.
The Strand (Yangon)
The Strand is a Yangon icon, the grand dame of colonial hotels close to the British Embassy and Yangon River.
Built in 1901 the hotel has hosted dignitaries and celebrities for many decades. The great high-ceilinged guest suites are decorated in original colonial style, bringing an elegance and refinement to any stay in Yangon. The delightful restaurant and café are open throughout the day, with the celebrated Strand High Tea a lovely option for residents and visitors alike.
Burma Boating (Myeik Archipelago)
The small fleet of elegant yachts owned and operated by the Burma Boating company offers a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful and as yet largely undeveloped Mergui Archipelago is considerable style and comfort. Scheduled itineraries of 3, 5 or 6 night operate throughout the sailing season from October to May, or private charters can be arranged with personalised itineraries arranged to suit your available time and interests. This is a spectacular way to explore one of Asia's most incredible gems.
Andaman Resort (Macleod Island)
The Andaman Resort is one of only a handful of resorts in the Mergui (Myeik) Archipelago, a chain of more than 800 islands in the Andaman Sea. The resort is located on Macleod Island, accessible by boat from the Burmese mainland. Though not luxurious the resort's facilities are comfortable and provide a unique opportunity to experience this pristine environment.
Sandoway Resort (Ngapali)
Located on Burma's pristine Ngapali beach, lapped by the warm, clear waters of the Bay of Bengal, is the charming Sandoway Hotel. This relaxing coastal getaway was one of the first properties in the area, and has earned an excellent reputation for both its setting and fine service. The boutique property offers a range of individual two-storey villas and cottages set amid lush tropical gardens, some looking out over the beach. This is a wonderful option for a few days of relaxation after a tour of Burma's glorious landscapes.
