New Vietnam visa policy for US travelers

Vietnam visa requirements

Travelling to Vietnam from the USA? You’ll be glad to hear that you now have more options than ever for purchasing a Vietnam visa!

As of 15th December 2016, we are pleased to announce that the Vietnamese government has updated its policy for visitors from the United States. A number of visa-on-arrival (VOA) options are now available to Americans:

One-month, single-entry visa ($25)

Three-month, single-entry visa ($50)

Six-month, multiple-entry visa ($95)

Twelve-month, multiple-entry visa ($135)

All visa fees stated above must be paid on arrival at the airport in Vietnam. For the six- and twelve-month visas, stays are limited to 90 days in total – so you’ll need to leave the country and re-enter, or extend your stay in-country with the immigration authorities.

All visas on arrival require a separate “approval letter”, which you should arrange before you travel. Customers of Inside Asia Tours will be provided with an approval letter in advance of their holiday.

If you’re interested in traveling to Vietnam, Inside Asia Tours can arrange your entire trip, tailored to suit your interests, needs and preferences. To begin planning today, just contact one of our consultants. Click here to get in touch.
